Temporary accommodation Dutch Parliament

Democracy on the move

For the temporary location of the House of Representatives in The Hague (The Netherlands), a public entrance will be able to receive the large numbers of visitors well and safely. This entrance will be made on the station side of the building at Bezuidenhoutseweg 67 in The Hague, where the House of Representatives will be temporarily housed since mid-2020 due to the renovation of the parliament building. MPs and employees use the existing main entrance at the Bezuidenhoutseweg.

Hundreds of thousands of school pupils and other interested parties visit the House of Representatives each year. The temporary accommodation will be rebuilt in such a way that the House of Representatives can continue to receive these visitor numbers. The design is by Zecc Architects. Recycled material is used in the implementation.
