Student housing

A formal office building from the 1960s in the city centre of Utrecht has been successfully transformed to student housing. The building is part of the Utrechtsch Studenten Corps (USC) and offers student housing to 25 male students.

The typology of this typical modernist building was respected, by creating an entirely new facade made out of vertical brick slats, which anchors the building within its historical context.
